Brian J. Testarmata, President and CEO oversees all operations of
Newport Capital Corporation, Newport Capital Funding Corp., and Newport Capital Realty.
Brian brings to Newport Capital over 12 years of solid experience in finance and real
estate. Brian’s professional experience includes several large Wall Street firms: The
Boston Company/Shearson Lehman Hutton, HFS-Coldwell Banker, Fleet Financial/Mortgage and
Allmerica Financial. Brian worked in the management of large institutional and private
client portfolios, traded bonds and equities in Boston and New York. His experience
includes structuring large golf community and real estate development deals in southern
California, mergers and acquisitions of real estate firms in northeastern U.S., commercial
real estate consulting in New York, and mortgage lending and real estate brokerage.
He is licensed as a real estate broker in California, Massachusetts, and New York. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has completed postgraduate work in Physics, Anatomy and Chemistry at Worcester State College, and Contract Law at Harvard University.
